Maranda has over 15 years of experience in cybersecurity. Maranda has built her career supporting organizations through both day-to-day security operations and long-term strategic planning. She’s known for developing strong partnerships with clients and delivering security solutions that fit how businesses operate. Her leadership in governance has strengthened IT infrastructure and information security across Healthcare, Insurance, Media & Entertainment, Retail, Manufacturing, and Transportation sectors. Maranda is skilled in implementing frameworks like NIST CSF 2.0, NIST AI RMF 1.0  and ISO 27001:2022 and regularly leads incident response and risk management efforts.

Derrick Durbin is a Regional Architect Manager and CISSP-certified cybersecurity professional with over 20 years of experience in information technology and security. A longtime practitioner at the intersection of enterprise architecture and offensive security, Derrick has spent his career helping organizations understand and mitigate the evolving threats facing their most critical systems. His current focus is on AI security from a design, risk and operational perspective. Derrick is passionate about closing the gap between the speed of AI adoption and the maturity of AI security practices, and brings a practical, hands-on perspective to helping organizations build their AI security programs from the ground up.

Proudly from St. Louis, MO, Conlan McDonough is a Cisco SMB Territory Manager with comprehensive experience in delivering tailored solutions that drive business success.

Alex has been with Rapid7 for nearly 10 years, starting as a sales rep and now managing the entire North America Sales organization for the commercial sector. Originally from the Northeast, he spent five years in Austin, Texas, helping to build out a new office before recently returning to Rapid7’s HQ in Boston with his wife and daughter.

Ken McCullough joined Secure Data in 2013 as a Network Engineer and has grown into a trusted pre-sales engineer and sales leader. With 25 years of experience across DoD, enterprise data centers, and MSP/VAR organizations, Ken leverages deep technical knowledge and practical insight to help clients confidently navigate their IT strategy and investments.

Outside of work, you won’t find Ken perfecting his golf swing or debating soccer formations—but he is always happy to talk about a great bourbon and a well-earned cigar.

Toby Hendrix leverages over 20 years of hands-on experience across cloud, security, and solution architecture in his current role as the Senior Cloud Security Solutions Engineer at Rapid7. Toby previously worked at RSA and Dell performing similar roles and is passionate about mentorship and advising security in the cloud. Feel free to throw a stray question out about whiskey too!

As Sales Engineering Manager at Varonis, Jack oversees a diverse team of 5 Sales Engineers across 4 states: Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas. Jack is responsible for building out the team, helping improve their pre-sales and account management abilities and techniques. Additionally, Jack is responsible for delivering sales presentations, presenting technical information about Varonis’ products and services, as well as providing guidance on new company initiatives. In his 20+ year career, Jack has worked across various industries as a developer, Consultant, Solution Engineer, Delivery Manager, Project Manager, and as a Sales Engineer. Jack holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, and graduated from New Trier High School, just outside of Chicago, Illinois.

Eddie has spent his career learning and gaining experience in the fields of IT Operations, Information Security, and Cybersecurity. Over the past few years, he has been focused on helping companies add to their Detection and Response capabilities. He currently performs technical presales activities for Arctic Wolf Networks, and always loves seeing organizations working to actively mature their security programs.

Adam Cass has been with Veeam for over 5 years and is currently a Systems Engineer.  Before coming to Veeam, He worked as a Datacenter Engineer for a Financial Institution then after that took his talents to a Partner doing Veeam deployments.  Adam is a major sneakerhead and collect a variety of hats as well. Major General Michael Zerbonia (Ret.) brings more than 38 years of military service and 28 years in law enforcement to his keynote. He most recently served as Commander of the Illinois Army National Guard, leading more than 10,500 soldiers. Over the course of his career, he held key leadership roles at every level, including commanding brigades, battalions, and multinational teams, and serving as Deputy Brigade Commander with the Polish Army in Afghanistan. His military service included deployments in support of Operations Desert Shield, Iraqi Freedom, and Enduring Freedom, along with missions across Europe and the Middle East.

In his civilian career, General Zerbonia rose through the ranks of the Illinois State Police, retiring as Colonel of Operations where he led over 1,800 troopers and 250 civilian staff. A highly decorated leader, his awards include the Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit, and Bronze Star. In his presentation, General Zerbonia shares real-world lessons on building high-performing teams and developing leaders, brought to life through powerful stories from his decades of service in both the military and law enforcement.
