AI Governance

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been a technological aspiration since the first computers were invented. AI surged into pop culture as science fiction writers, particularly Isaac Asimov, published books like I, Robot.  We’ve all grown up seeing autonomous, teachable, and fully interactive computers and robots/androids as only a matter of time till technology matures to that point. Well, that galaxy far, far away is not as far as it seems. AI is making its way into all aspects of our technical lives. 

Isaac Asimov understood something about AI and robotics back in the 1940s when he wrote I, Robot (published in 1950).  Robots and AI must have governance. We know these today as Asimov’s 3 Laws of Robotics.
