We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to join our team in the St. Louis, MO area. This individual will work directly with the CEO and will be responsible for performing a number of administrative duties. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their work load and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enhance the CEO’s effectiveness by providing daily administrative support
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and manage travel itineraries
  • Prepare internal and external company documents for team members and industry partners
  • Take notes during meetings and arrange follow-ups to ensure action items are tracked and completed
  • Lead & manage various company projects & functions to support leadership as needed
  • Help manage digital/physical file organization to keep files easily accessible
  • Help maintain order in the office to create a workspace that inspires pride and productivity
  • Assist with company events such as golf tournaments, fund-raising events and employee appreciation events
  • Share a variety of office management duties with other team members as required
  • Passion to identify, understand, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Meet deadlines while balancing multiple priorities; act as internal advocate for projects; stay calm under pressure; work effectively and efficiently
  • Methodically analyze and evaluate; define problems/challenges, identify alternatives and make timely recommendations
  • Uphold a strict level of confidentiality
  • Dependable – Follow instructions; complete daily tasks; follow through on commitments
  • Suggest ways to improve process efficiency
  • Escalate urgent problems requiring more in-depth knowledge to appropriate internal and external resources
  • Provide additional support to the management team, as needed

 

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-5 years’ experience in an executive support role

  • Strong research, problem solving, and analytical skills

  • Impeccable accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to solve problems with critical thinking, resourcefulness, and strong decision-making skills

  • Ability to function well autonomously and in a team-oriented environment

  • Excellent writing and editing skills

  • Ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Ability to maintain customer service focus in complex situations

  • Experience with Cisco technology is a plus

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
